At this art studio in New York City, ZCI Woodworks worked with designers to create the reception desk, retail cabinetry, and stairwell paneling that they envisioned.
The vision was to create millwork that could be considered art itself. A quarter sawn white oak was used with a clear finish in order to feature the wood grain. Brushed steel display shelving and floating wood shelves were introduced to the retail cabinetry. The entire stairwell, including underneath, was fully paneled in quarter sawn white oak to bring a distinct contrast between the stairwell and the floors it connects.
