The retail counter units were sided with reclaimed wine crates made of pine, that had previously been used to transport wine to the store. This eco-friendly idea not only made use of green building philosophies, it also gave cash register units more character. Countertops also made use of the reclaimed wine crates, with an epoxy coating to level the counter and make it more resistant to normal wear and tear.
